Seafit 275 Newtons

The special darted 3D neck design makes wearing a 275 Newton lifejacket remarkably comfortable. The retroreflective tape fitted on the outer cover as standard mean wearers can be easily spotted. The buoyancy has been specially developed to improve self righting by producing a kick thrust on inflation. The Seafit is the preferred choice of many professionals including BBC's Trawler boat Amity. Skipper Jimmy Buchan said '"We have been wearing our originals now for 2-3 years and have found that we can work on the open deck easily with the lifejackets". The crew pictures can be seen on the Industrial/Commercial page. The Seafit is not bulky for a large buoyancy lifejacket and only weighs approximately 1.5kg.
Standard features include SOLAS retroreflective tape on the outer cover as well as the inner bladder, emergency whistle approved to EN394, lifting loop, high specification edge binding, belt size to fit adults up to 125cm. Suitable for adults over 50kg.
Option of standard UML automatic or manual operating system. Automatic lifejackets will inflate on water entry but also have a manual override pull handle, manual operate lifejackets will only inflate when the handle is pulled. Also available with the new Prosensor automatic or manual operating head (Advantage model). Available in standard waistbelt or stainless steel harness version. The Seafit can be fitted with a SOLAS sea light, comfort collar and a click together crotch strap.
